Intelligent Inserting

Through a strong commitment to research and development, inTelmail has developed a unique range of high-speed feeders and system operating software. inTelmail systems are renowned for their flexible processing capabilities, and are capable of processing the widest range of input formats, reading logics, document sizes and materials.

inTelmail modular mailing equipment can be configured to suit almost any mailing application.

An inTelmail C5 or C4 intelligent mailing system separates the work stream into individual sets of sheets, matches documents together, folds them if required, collects other enclosures and inserts each set into an envelope.

The system will feed a stream (or streams) of Prime Documents at very high speed, scanning the coded instructions laser printed down the side of each sheet in the run. One section of this code line enables the system to separate the sets, accumulating the multiple sheet sets as they occur during the run. Another section of the code line instructs the inserter to add selected inserts to the envelope with each set, or to ink mark or divert envelopes using a diverter option.

An inTelmail intelligent mailing system is controlled by inTelmail Real time, Single Platform Operating Software, allowing for error processing, piece by piece document tracking and absolute control over each system function.

Dynamic operates Intelmail intelligent inserting machines from DL to C4 format.

The inTelmail machines read a barcode to intelligently identify the presence of each document set within the print stream.

The barcode is created at the data formatting stage and contains the unique sequential number allocated to each record in the print file together with details of the number of pages within the statement set. This is printed on all pages in that set.

The barcode is machine read and allows the inserter to know if the page received is in the correct order and that the integrity of the document set is correct. It therefore verifies every page and detects any duplication or any gap in the page stream.
